Mitomycin and Fluorouracil in Combination with Concomitant Radiotherapy: A Potentially Curable Approach for Locally Advanced Head and Neck Squamous Cell Carcinoma

The above article appeared in Japanese Journal of Clinical Oncology 35(10): 572–579 (2005). The authors would like to report that there was an error while reporting locoregional relapse-free survival (LRFS) at 3 years in this article. Reported LRFS is 89.2% with mean LRFS time of 38.2 months (95% CI 36.8, 39.5) and median LRFS time not reached. The correct LRFS is 63.1% at 3 years with mean LRFS time of 32.2 months (95% CI 29.1, 35.3) and median LRFS time not reached. The corresponding survival curve for LRFS (Figure 2) is correct.
The parts of the manuscript where these errors were printed are given below with the correct values indicated.
Page 1. Abstract: Results, line 3: 89.8 should be 63.1.
